The LDCSB's rapid growth has resulted in a need for qualified teachers at a pace not seen in decades. Our student population has increased approximately 30% over the past five years and the London area is now one of the fastest growing regions in Canada. 

Do I have to be OCT certified?
Yes, However, if you are not yet OCT certified, you can apply for a Temporary Classroom Support Personnel position.

Do I have to be Catholic? Do I need a Pastoral Reference to apply?
Yes, all candidates must be baptized Catholic. Regarding the Pastoral Reference, we now have a revamped Commitment to Catholic Education form (available on the top right side of this page) and successful candidates have two years to get a pastoral reference. We’ll even help you get one!

What are the greatest areas of opportunity?
We are seeking Permanent Full-Time Teachers, Occasional Teachers (certified teachers or students about to complete their Bachelors of Education), French Teachers and Music Teachers.

I have a spouse or partner that works in the education sector. Is the LDCSB hiring in those areas?

Does my seniority transfer?
